Pic related. It's range is small, its rolling attack is garbage. But it really just fucks people up. I always dump 40 points into endurance for the increase in stamina. Wear the ring of favor (+3 version now that Ring DLC has it), and chloranthy ring (also + 3). I can swing this fucker 4 times with hyper armor on each swing and still have stamina to dodge twice. At 40 strength and a heavy greataxe +10, I'm hitting for 500's while 2 handed. A bit more if I use the weapon art which makes charged R2's very difficult to predict.

Same thing I used in DaS1. Full Black Iron set, black knight shield, Greataxe. I use the regular battleaxe you start with until I get my hands on the greataxe.

DaS2: Butcher Knife. One of the kings of pvp. It was so easy to chain attacks together and punish rolls. I think I also used the 'Kumo.
BB: Blade of Mercy, Kirkhammer, Burial Blade
DaS3: never found a weponfu. Movesets felt poor on a lot of weapons, and weaponarts were almost all nodamage shit-spins. Kinda liked Crow quills, Black Knight Great Axe, Yorm's Machete, and that OP curved sword from the skeletons.

You can add armor aesthetics to. Das 3 had to worse by far. Some of the armor doesn't even fit correctly to your character. The armor in 3 just resizes your limbs. Go equip leather legs and then black leather legs for an example of this stupid shit.

I used to love baiting people into rolling attack with these. It had one of the farthest reaching and quickest rolling attack of all weapons and its damage was obscene. I'd have my caestus or claw weapon ready to go and parry that motherfucker into oblivion. Same with the curved sword you get from Nameless King.

I loved the Drang Twin Maces too. They did great damage but after the patch, a standard heavy infused battleaxe would out-damage them with less stat investment.

I love that weapon just because it unlocks so many ways to make your build after that, Splitleaf Greatsword does that too but with a bit more dex investment. Overall I say they're the best PVE weapons

Now for PvP I've fallen in love with the flashsword ever since I first started dark souls, average about 180 damage on 45 int build but it has speed and length going for it as well.
