Dungeons layout, missions and loot are generated randomly.

Managed to lock all the right perks on Reynauld. He had the most hp of all my heroes figured Swine Whatever wouldnt manage to get his health to 0.

He probably doesn't know what he's doing. Which, to be fair, there isn't much reason he should if he hasn't sought out info outside of the game. I had no idea I'd need, what was it, 3-4 full teams to complete the darkest dungeon? So I only had 2 teams. Actually really pissed me off at the time, and made me pick up a mod to let any char enter any difficulty dungeon to make the leveling up faster and easier (because it really did feel like a grind at that point).

I also didn't realize that the post-dungeon guys gave a huge exp bonus to everyone else in their party, so I didn't even benefit from that. That's partly me being retarded, but it's also partly the UI doing a poor job of explaining that they have that ability. I thought the DD-marker they had just meant that they couldn't enter it again.

I wish I would have never wasted what little money I did on this if I knew this version wasn't going to be properly supported.

So you dont really have a plucky platoon of adventures working for fame and forture in the defense of your regrowing estate....you run more of a death camp really. A concentration camp if you will, where you send rubes out to their deaths for a few bucks gain.

Oh hey, did you know they can actually reach level 6? if they live that long that is.

Never understood how anyone could like this game.

Killed 2 bosses before I realized this is all there is to the game and decided the mediocre "story" wasn't worth killing palette swaps over and over.
