You know over the years I've started liking his game dungeon videos way more than freeman's mind. Freeman's mind is fine and what made him popular, but there's just something about him playing and beating games that few people have even heard of and no one has covered, that's really enjoyable.

"Killing games" is saddling them with online features that require the servers to exist to play them at all, even if they're perfectly good single player games, so when the servers inevitably go down there's no way to play them.

The Game Dungeon episode on Battleforge goes into what he means in the most detail, because it's a pretty good single and multiplayer RTS game that's completely unplayable any more because a huge amount of the AI code was on the servers, which no longer exist.
