All you need is the Dues Exe mod for some small fixed. It works fine if you know a few things beforehand.

Don't expect the shooting to be good. It's not. It's shit. Stick to melee it's much more fun.

The opening of the game is shit. It will take a few levels to get good. The reason for this is what makes and allows Dues Ex to be a great game is all the augs you have that allow you to really take advantage of the level design. In the beginning you have barely any augs so it's not much fun, also you aren't in the right mindset yet, you need to play for a while to fully realize just what you can and can't do. Because you will be stuck in game logic thinking for a while before you truly see.

Times have changed OP. Literally every single game besides Tetris and Ghost Trick seem to have a dedicated group who shit on it relentlessly whenever it's brought up. From older releases like HL2, V:tMB, Fallout New Vegas, to newer stuff like Bloodborne, Nier Automata, DOOM 2016, Persona 5, etc. It'll save a lot of headache.
