That aside, no I don't want Sony to make a handheld with homeconsole parity. It would only compromise the potential of their next homeconsole and I don't play games outside so there would be no benefit to be whatsoever.

Vita already plays all PS4 games as long as you have an internet connection. I could do it at university, a large mall, a coffee place, or even public transport (in my country at least, they all have free wifi). Only twitch games like shooters can't be enjoyed this way due to the input lag but Jrpgs and whatnot can, so such a console already exists in the form of Vita + internet.
