Will we see Pokken tournament on Switch?

We never got the 4 arcade characters or any arcade updates, what makes you think they'll port it or make a sequel?

You don't seem to understand, the entire game was abandoned by TPCi and told namco to stop supporting it, they cut tournaments for it and killed off the competitive scene leaving all the players that are still left to put it on life support.

Everything I've read has said that both TPC and Namco are interested in porting it to switch, with Nintendo being the main barrier.

Probably.

The game sold close to 2 million copies on the PiiU which is more than Street Fighter 5 and many other fighting games. It would be very silly not to have a Pokken 2 or Super Pokken on Switch.

I want to see a "Pokken Tag Tournament" where they have all the characters from the first one, the ones from the arcade updates and roughly a dozen more characters and players have to pick 2-3 Pokemon and can switch between them.
Sure, the fights will last longer, but I feel a Pokemon fighter should involve you having multiple Pokemon.

As far as new fighters I'd like to see:
Mimikyu
Greninja
Tyranitar
Venusaur
Incineroar
Buzzwole
Golurk
Aegislash or Doublade
