The game doesn't need any more racing stages. Adding more would feel like bloat desu and the screen would just be cluttered with cups.

Add more characters and battle stages though please.

20 dollars to double the battle stages. 4 new ones, 4 returning

Go ham with new racers to make up for it. Diddy Kong, Kritter, Goomba, doctor egad, etc.
Maybe one or two more non-marioverse racers like Kirby but focus mostly on getting surprise Mario characters in. Unexpected ones. Toadsworth, a blue Pinata from Sunshine. A joke character or two like a Amp (pic related). If it was up to me I'd say go for 15 new characters over the course of 2 dlc packs bundled with the battle arenas. Shouldn't be too bad considering how many would probably just be reskins like toadsworth.

Stuff like 200 mirror cc would be cool too. Basically things that would be super easy to include that would give the illusion of a lot of content.
