It's so simple to tell the difference between propaganda and cultural appreciation. Propaganda attempts to "whiten" the personalities of every character and seperates cultural roots while games like this are made to take advantage of the rich and interesting cultures that can be found around the world with the incorporation of some personal fiction as well. I worry that with the reactions SJW games receive, they're will no longer be diverse characters because then you're demonizing a group of potential customers who will get offended
