Mars Guo for long stretches of boosting, whatever the fuck that Armadillo lookin dude with the tiny yellow podracer's name was for super high manueverability, Neva Kee for a good mix between the two.

I remember this game being sold out everywhere on release, and having to go to some really run down toys-r-us in the shady party of town to nab the last copy. Game wasn't as good as I had hoped but it was still ok. I remember it being incredibly tough as a kid, but when I replayed it as an adult it was actually pretty easy. The arcade for the game was the best though. When my neighbor unlocked the racer that shot flames out the side, cool as shit.
