This game didn't really have an impact at the end like 3 or 4 did
Both 3 and 4 made me slightly depressed.

This one just made me go meh. Probably because of how little interaction joker and the other characters had. 90% of their interactions is through text

I'm doing another run exclusively to date all of the girls at once.

I also discovered that, while your personas don't carry over, your compendium does as well as your money, and you can summon any level demon at any level. Makes the first few dungeons a cakewalk

I can definitely see what people mean by pacing issues in the later part, the ramp up to the holy grail and that god seemed to kind of come out of nowhere. But I suppose it isn't a JRPG without a fight like that

Real talk, but in Crimson, who is going to be the new social link? What will be the most defining features in it?

My bet is that at the very least, Hifumi is going to be an actual party member like she was supposed to be, and she's going to basically take over Akechi's persona's moveset so that you have a Light/Dark specialist with you for the rest of the game.

I also kinda hope that Shiho becomes a Confidant and doesn't get injured nearly as badly by her fall. Just a small 1 month recovery time whereupon she then comes back to school.

To be honest I didn't really like how some of the confidants were written in this game. It sucks that almost everyone has the same formula of "oh this person is making my life miserable, let's spend several sessions crying about it and one session of MC asking for their name and taking care of business," unlike in Persona 4 where all the Social Links I felt were more like real friendships.

Do you remember the beginning of Makoto's confidant?

She takes you to a fucking arcade to "try out all life has to offer other then studying" and then some random peer of yours basically takes over the Confidant and then a romance option is just shoved into it at the last second.

A lot of these confidants need a rewrite.

If she's to "replace Akechi" that means she would have to show up way later in the game and only be available for the final dungeon, so that's dumb.

The only person right now that would make the most sense to become a party member is Mishima, since he changes his own heart.

If anything in Crimson, Akechi will have some redemption arc and he becomes a permanent party member

I can't believe you stupid assholes can't let this go. Complaining that you think you would have liked it better is one thing, actually thinking there is even a chance that it would ever be added later is insane fucking delusion.

She was cut for a reason. It was presumably incredibly early on in the 6-8 year development cycle this game had, possibly when the entire story was different. We don't even know if she would have had the same personality. Adding her does not benefit the game at all. The party is already large, and their join dates spread over the entire fucking calendar, with every palace after assembling the party important to the main plot to the point of being irreplaceable. There's nowhere for her to FIT except replacing an existing party member, and you would have to have actual brain damage to think atlus is going to take one of the marketable party members that they internally decided was a more worthwhile addition to the cast than Hifumi and just cut them from a rerelease and replace them with a nobody.
