I've never played a game where burning some grass, for example, opens up so many different interactions.

The worlds in these games are also blitzing other worlds in JRPGs. Xenoblade 2 trailer has you travelling on the back of a gigantic stag and you can see its humongous scaley neck and head move in real time as you run across it. These games cannot be beat.
