There are a handful of Wii U games I wanted to play but wasn't dumb enough to actually buy a Wii U. Yes, Nintendo fucked up by rushing the Switch out without basic features like Virtual Console and fuck them for that. I'm willing to give the Switch a shot as it seems Nintendo is getting the idea that their best work these days is on handhelds and I'm not poor.

The Switch isn't using the same architecture anymore, so if they do they'll have to make an emulator which is taxing on the Switch and would kill its battery life

It just makes more sense to make ports for the handful of games people want from a developer's point of view
