The days of mags are done my man
I subscribed to Nintendo Power for at least ten years back in the day, but this was before the internet became a reference tool.

Anyone remember old X-play. I remember how excited I was coming home from fuckin elementary school just to stare at Morgan and hear about some cool games

Done now, thanks to you.
Really? GameInformer?

G4TechTV was my thing back in high school, at least before it became a Cops/Cheaters channel.
Feels weird knowing I got to watch the rise of Kevin Pereira as he took over Screen Savers.

You ever get a demo disc and play the shit out of a particular game on it even though it was just one level and never actually buy the full game?
Yes. In fact, I still have like the first 100-something issues of Nintendo Power on my shelf.
>2004
>Not having OXM
I liked the demo discs, some actually came with extra content before DLC was a thing.
>>375882319
dlc existed on the dreamcast bro
I have nearly every issue of PSM bar a couple of the later issues. Been meaning to scan them in high quality at some point.Dem swimsuit issues
>>375881310

>>375881310
Who /Nintendo Power/PSM/OXM Idort Here?
>>375882596

>>375882365
I meant before it was available for Xbox. Hell, you could get the Dead or Alive 3 costumes on the demo disc before Xbox Live was even a thing.
>>375882235
Remember Kristen Holt and Attack of the Show. Damn I miss it
>>375882241
yes, although recently I've been remembering all those games I just rinsed the demo of and bought them and beat them
feels good

Breh, I remember when it was called The Screen Savers.
what did they mean by this?
>>375883786
I think it means "Gaming isn't niche anymore".

>>375883456
Haha I was just a kid, what the fuck did I know
>>375882241
Yeah, I'm 33, did that with tons of demos back on PC and consoles.
>>375883216
>>375884265
I remember doing it with Metal Arms: Glitch in the System and a Rainbow Six game
>>375884401
Guy you replied to.
I did it with an incredibly amount of PC games from I'd say early 90's to 2002 when dialup still was common and almost no one had broadband, and if they did it was DSL or an ISDN (2 dialup connections combine)
I couldn't even begin to name the demos I kept playing.
I remember downloading the 56MB demo of Quake 1 and then my mom picking up the phone the last 20 minutes of the download and killing it, killed a 6 hour download.
