The better question is why Steam doesn't have a limit on the amount of time a game can be in early access. Obviously a game like DayZ will never come out of EA in order to avoid all of the refunds.

The ability to refund when a game comes out of EA is to make sure the game delivers on its promises.

The thing is, if your refund is denied, you cant try to refund it again.

You bought a game and then refund it.

Then bought it again and refund it again, two different instances were your refund wasnt denied.


Here, every anon will have their refund denied and when they try to refund it when it comes out of EA (after the beta), they wont be able to do it because the system automatically rejects it.
