The Wii can't play Phantasy Star Online...online, due to the lack of Broadband Adapter support.

It also doesn't support LAN Mode for Double Dash, Kirby Air Ride and 1080 Avalanche for the same reason.

I think if you switch it over to the HD settings in the menu it gets rid of a ton of lag, but if you're using the HD cables you're already using an HDTV instead of a CRT, which will cause lag when compared to using a CRT

so I think it's more of the TV you'd use with them and not the cables, though the lag is only really noticeable if you're playing something like melee

I got mine when the Zelda collection bundle was a thing, I sold that one eventually to buy some DS games because "I can just use my Wii anyways".

That Wii died on me like a year later and when I got a new GC for like five bucks after that it mostly worked, but some things have trouble reading and I've gotta open and close the drive like twenty times before it'll read it, at which point if the game actually boots it'll run fine until I shut it off again.

Not that anon, and I'm not sure if this counts but a big part of my childhood was watching reruns of old cartoons very late at night. Stuff like Hong Kong Phooey, Danger Mouse, Dastardly and Muttley in their flying machines, Wacky Races etc.
I even have a Danger Mouse mug and a Hong Kong Phooey wallet to show my love and nostalgia for the shows.
Plus my first console was a PS1 or Dreamcast (Can't remember which one, I just remember owning both) and played stuff like Tekken, Sonic Adventure, Hydro Thunder and Crazy Taxi. I turn 21 late October and feel like I associate myself with the stuff in my post more than I associate with the stuff listed in the strawpoll.

I remember watching Power Rangers In Space and Lost Galaxy at the age of 3 fine, and a couple other miscellaneous things like Beast Wars reruns, Woody Woodpecker, Digimon. Like, most shit that was on Fox Kids in '99, and some various things from Cartoon Network and Nick, but most of what was on those stayed in reruns for several more years anyways. As said, very late. There were many VHS rentals of slightly older things from Hollywood Video, too, but I honestly don't remember much of that anymore.

I didn't really get into video games until I was maybe six or seven and I got an original GBA, though. I got a GBC when I was four, but all I had for that was Game & Watch Gallery 3, and before that all I played was Tetris on my mom's Game Boy which I didn't really understand. I would just try to build up big towers on the sides.
