the most ive seen is around 20 or so.
The problem is the only populated maps is mos eisley.

Gamernager has more people but Game master has better servers.
here some pros and cons of both
GameMaster has less lag
GameRanger has more people
GameMaster has more dedicated servers
GameRanger has a few servers (many PC servers) less dedicated ones
GameMaster has better players (more skilled)
GameRanger does not (only a few are skilled players,the rest will mine/det you at full force
GameMaster has a nicer community with the good clans it has (except those trolls who will cause trouble but you get them in GameRanger as well)
GameRanger only has a few clans mainly TKD
GameMaster has a bunch of clans. mine is one of them.
GameRanger makes being an admin hard (when owning a dedicated server) because it crashes the RM (Remote Manager)
GameMaster does not have this problem
GameRanger only supports 1.5 server patch against certain hacks
GameMaster supports 1.6 which is much better than 1.5

if you are having unusual issues with the Steam version of Battlefront 2, just delete the game.
Buy the GOG version. For some reason it has none of the glitches found in the Steam version. Or just pirate it
