PUT IT ON THE SWITCH

Why? The game was fucking shit with a horrible control scheme.
I would still be playing this if the online system wasn't so shit.
>Really fun competitive
>Tons of weapons and abilities for potential team coordination
>Can't queue up with friends unless you're only going to be playing with friends
>>375848938
If the controls were so shit people wouldn't be able to beat stages on 9.0.
>>375848938
git gud
>>375848737
I'd buy it.
>>375848938
>a horrible control scheme
Wouldn't be the case with either gyro controls or twin stick controls
>>375850189
>>375848938
>Mfw Sakurai has confirmed he will NEVER EVER add a twin stick control scheme to Kid Icarus or any of its sequels because it would be too slow and he would have to ruin the game on its account
>>375850296
Pointer controls would work really well.
I don't have a Switch so I don't know how well they work on that, but controlling KI:U with a Wiimote pointer and Nunchuck would have been pretty cool.
God, this game is great.
The single player mode is great, the dialogue is great, the music is great, the multiplayer is great.
It's just a really solid game all round. Probably my favourite 3DS game. Sakurai really delivered.
>>375850485
Pointer controls would be fine for the air battles but it would be too slow for the land battles since there's no fast way to turn around.

>Mfw Sakurai has confirmed he will NEVER EVER add a twin stick control scheme to Kid Icarus or any of its sequels
Why does a 2D platformer need twin stick controls and why would any of its sequels be made by someone who never worked on it?
>>375854370
NES games aren't good by modern standards and the original Kid Icarus was never good by then standards.

Die in a fire.

It's true. I can think of a handful of NES games I can find fun still. SNES is a lot more timeless. NES was just important to gaming history so it gets memed as something that is still enjoyable
>come back to this after not playing since release
>forgot whatever the good weapons were
>forgot the controls
>get shit pushed in at medium intensity
It wouldn't work. Twin sticks would be awful for this game and gyro is (lol tier. It would have worked on the Wii U but not the switch.
>>375853294
>pressing a simple button to turn 90 degree is slow
Clearly, Uprising was meant for the wii.
It worked surprisingly well on the 3ds, but the wiimote+nuchuck would have been better imo.

I would fucking buy a Switch without a second thought if there was a sequel to this on it.
>>375855264
>gyro is (lol tier.
gyro works well for splatoon and would work well for uprising you stupendous sausage bandit
>>375848938
How to spot a shitter
But then you'd have to gut the game's higher difficulties and the multiplayer mode would be severely impaired.
Are you really so selfish that you would rather having an excellent game have it's skill ceiling, speed and level designed severely impaired just because you're too retarded to use anything that isn't the Official Generic Third-Person Shooter Controller Scheme?
>>375854750
Uprising already ruined the franchise and was a shit game, so there's nothing left to ruin.
>give me more recycled cum nintendo! im begging for it!
>dont make anything new!
>just add a meme to the old game and ill buy it again at full price!
>mm thank you master mmmm
>pre-orders amiibo
>>375848737
Who's /9.0everything/ here?
>>375856947
>new
oh, so you want Sticker Star and SPM again?
i don't know, it seems like the charm from the first game was almost accidental
even if the gameplay is great it'll sour it for me if they screw up the dialog and i had to play while tolerating some horrible voice acting
