In AC1 the first time you beat someone up and interrogate them, I was actually suprised to see Altair kill the man, considering he was just a propaganda mouth piece, but it did build up Altair as this all crimes are equal kinda lawful neutral.

In AC2 the first time you beat someone up and interrogate them Ezio lets them go, it comes back to bite him and you'd think he'd learn to kill these people but he never learned not even in any future game that I played.

Why do people still deny Altair is so much more a badass assassin than Ezio?
