Don't they have plans on supporting this game until 2020? As long as they either drop the price of the base game or release a "Super" SFV that just includes the S1 and S2 DLC characters, there's no real reason it shouldn't be allowed to release all the planned content for it

Tekken might outsell SFV but it won't kill it, the only game that has the possibility of ever dethroning SF is KOF and those games are not very popular at all.
KOF is the only series that scratches that particular highly ground based, footsies itch that SF was always known for, but it's always been the underdog and probably will continue to be forever.

3d will never kill a 2d game because they're completely different, they're nearly a different genre.

It's not fucking fair. I am mad at the community for being assholes about the game, but I am also mad at Capcom for not making the game better to begin with. I don't care about single player content and other bullshit, but the game has so much DLC out the ass. I wouldn't even mind it if it didn't show up on the fucking select screen even if you haven't bought it. Back in ye ol' days, when something was locked, you had to do something to unlock it, now it's just "PAY UP BITCH".

Street Fighter V came out at the same time as fucking Overwatch. You may bitch about that game having cosmetic crate bullshit but at least you can play every character as they're released and those crates are easy to earn by playing the game naturally, unlike SFV.
