What headphones do you guys use for those long immersive sessions? Pic related. Super comfy and great sound.

G430
Had it for almost 3 years now.
I can't believe it's still alive tho
Why is all the "gaming" stuff so ugly, just buy regular good looking headphones so you look a little less like a retard when playing your 3ds on the train.
>Feeling around ears
>Notice indentation from headphones

They look ugly because they're so cheaply made. That's why I go with headphones that are made for a variety of musical genres, since they usually work decently for gaming.

>implying your life is so sad that you juge poeple in the train
>implying we play 3DS
>implying "good looking" matters when we talk about vidya
On what level are you anon ?
7xx's
I bought those senseisher hd558 with a boom mic and it sounds amazing but I wish I woulda splurged for a really good wireless headset because wires is annoying and sometimes I wanna game on my tv (shield tv) but still sit on discord with friends and I can't. So I'd recommend wireless but that's just my opinion.
MMX 300
but i'd wait till they release the Gen. 2
They're quite nice and all, but I want to get open headphones next. Unfortunately cannot really afford proper headphones along with an amplifier at the moment.
Who /k7xx/ series here????
Been using my k702's for a few years now, and I have my 240's in storage.

Of course good looking matters when we talk about vidya gear, did you never buy vidya related gear based on looks? A cool looking limited edition? A sleek PC case?
Seeing/owning good looking stuff makes you feel good.

MDR-EX650 when playing games when I need to talk (external VOIP like TS/Vent/Humble/Discord or whatever)
H2100 when I talk to people I just played with and need to be away from the PC
Complete Zensor 1+5+7+center+sub when I enjoy games alone.
Recommend me a good wireless gaming headset!

Meh, you're asking for a cheap quality "decent" headset that have a mic at a premium price.
Just pick any wireless headset I guess.
All come with shit like """"""""7.1"""""""" even though most have only one driver per side, some come with tiny but more speakers, avoid those and go for those that fake surround, disable the surround shit and use as stereo headphones and let the games emulate positions like usual.
I have the H2100 and they work well for voice com, and sounds like the typical $10-25 headphones you find.
>AKG
>using proprietary cables
I used to have a pair of Samson SR950s but they broke, using a PS4 Gold headset that I bought for $15 at GameStop until I can pony up the money for another decent pair.
>>375838552
I dont really care about mic. and I dont mind paying extra for actually good headset, not just decent.
is the hyperx cloud core a good headset for it's price?

>(((GAMING HEADPHONES)))
jesus fucking christ this thread
go to /g/ and go inside headphone general, read the OP and fuck off
/v/ is literally retarded in both hardware and software
>>375838816
That's something else then.
I'm >>375837129 and I use in-ear for when I play games in the night or when I don't want to harass the people I play with by having howling speakers.
But some say the ATH M50 are good, I found them to have VERY limited soundstage and lack of clear treble, kinda similar to how Sony XB-500 sounds which I have hanging around that I don't use. I'd rather use my Koss PortaPro with boosted trebs than M50.
Senheisser 558, 598 and 650 gets a lot of votes as well but they all sound different so it's a typical "headphone for your taste".
Ask what kind of music you listen to and what games you play and state a $$$-limit, that makes it easier for those more experienced than me to give recommendations.
After all, I rather use speakers than headphones anyway, and depending on how I want it to sound I swap between the Zensor 1+sub or the 5+sub/no-sub.
