This is what happens when something gets hyped to death

I'm kinda glad there will never be a HL3. We all know it would just disappoint, and NOTHING will ever top the golden years of Source mods. That community is gone. Why put your heart and soul into a free mod when you can just make a copycat indie game prototype and rake in cash for a couple months without ever having to finish it?
The couple thousand hours I spent in Garry's Mod around 2008 was more enjoyment than HL3 could ever be.
