My theory is that many people don't feel the sight of beauty under their skin. They're more connected to a model or ideal of beauty, rather than how somethings appearance straight-up makes you feel. They unknowingly shit out ugly art to some extent because of this lack of attentiveness, and it's no surprise the (inhuman) tranny tumblrs are the worst offenders.

Male heroes still look the same way they always had, meanwhile this is what a female role model looks like. Women simply can't stand ever not being the center of attention, so they decided to collectively delude themselves into thinking beauty is a subjective concept.
