Is the necromancer class locked behind the expansion? I own the base game somehow and was thinking of re-installing it and making one of those plant people. I had this idea where i would make a mushroom person and color him the same as a highly toxic IRL mushroom and use necromancer poison spells.

Why would this even matter? why does it need to 'sink in'?

I hate MMOs. I don't understand how people enjoy them. I mean I casually play GW2, and try my best to (solo) level up my character. But around lvl 26 there is no consistent way to lvl up without grinding. For that reason I wasted $60 cause I bought that shit when it released.

If GW2 is making a substantial profit, it's only because they're saving money by not releasing regular content updates.

Literally a new content patch every 2-3 months.


It doesn't matter though they've lost people's interest with failing delivering good content for the first 2-3 years and it didn't help that they released a rushed and unfinished expansion. They started to get their shit together this year, really good content, really good story, really promising future but again, tons of people have lost their faith in this game.
