Not op here. I quit playing dota after the last major content patch because they're trying way too hard to force a certain style of play.
That being said the game objectively has some of the best sound design currently. Every single attack and spell has a unique sound that is easily distinguishable in the middle of a fight with 10+ spells popping off in a matter of seconds.
If you play the game for a month you can close your eyes for a teamfight and have a fairly accurate idea of what happened.
Games shit, sound design is godly.

That patch was cancer and the reason I've finally been released from the hell known as dota2 . KeK shrines, that roshan placement etc etc. Back I go to the good old WC3 doto.

I can tolerate talents, the rosh spot being changed, and all the other things, but shrines remain my biggest pet peeve about this patch.

I have been playing Dota since 2008 and I have no problem with the changes.
Talents are great. Now you can adapt your hero to different situations in stead of just getting the odd stat boost.

The Rosh pit movement seems weird but now both teams have equal access to it from both sides of the map.

Shrine and Bounty rune spots seemed weird to me at first but it just adds another layer of strategy to the game.

Are you guys mad that you have to basically relearn the meta and adapt?
Change is a good thing, it prevents things form stagnating.

There is many really bad choices in Dota 2.
The soundtrack don't blend well for instance, and its not "big enough" to avoid gigantic periods of silence if something keeps on happening.

Like, the best part is the dialogue. The sound effects and music is generally worse than their Warcraft III counterpart.

Ending a week long event with a montage of exclusively women was just a weird thing to do.
It would be the same if it ended with a montage with footage that was exclusively Chinese members of the crowd.
The standard thing would have just been various clips of crowd members getting hype at big moments, without any sort of specificity.
The people getting mad though are just stock standard numale and feminist complainers whining about how the montage objectifies women.
The production company behind the event is just apologising to save face.
