People had the wrong image. They thoguht he was a genius director/creator who personally made and directed all the classic Mega Man games.

I remember seeing a guy playing MN9 on release. He clearly wasn't enjoying it. He kept saying "but he made it! He made megaman!" like he was trying to convince himself that MN9 has to be good.
