i have a gtx 1080 and a i7-6700k. i still get inconsistent frame dips below 30 at times, even after the small patch they gave us. but shit, even for honor stutters for me, but on my old system plays just fine. if for the 10th aniversary we dont get a mobile remaster, i at least ask for a better pc port. i want a halo 3 port too, but thats besides the point

maybe its my drivers or the fact im using windows 10. it works great in gta 5, battlefield 3 4 and 1, i get over 100 fps at ultra and can get 144fps if i drop to high, so its wonderful with my 144fps monitor titanfall 2, witcher, and the new tomb raiders. as far as i know those are greatly optimized games, but i was hoping this set up would save me from bad ports of the past and future. dont get me wrong, gta 4 can get over 60, even at 4k, if you lower draw distance and detail distance. for honor i still dont know why. i might do a re install. im not too mad since it cam ewith the msi duke i got for free

GTA IV runs just fine if you have enough ram and decent videocard. Of course it demands much more from computers than from the consoles because of the shitty optimization, but it really does run smoother if you have a good computer. GTA IV was shit optimized because it demanded more than it really needed.

Saints Row 2 in other hand runs like shit no matter what hardware you have.

i'll say this about pc gaming: its like getting a remaster every 5 years or so when i decide to upgrade my hardware. i played gta 4 at launch with like 20 fps on low or something awful, and now it feels so good to play it at max in the rain in star junction with mods no longer crashing my system.

my monitor is 1080, and thats what im gonna stick with for a while longer. the 4k thing was when i plugged it into my tv for an experement. every game was khitting 60 with like 20 fps headroom, since anti aliasing isnt needed. switching back to 1080p after a few hours of that and all i cold see are jaggies.

also, all the batman games and the 2 new tomb raiders ran smoothly at 4k. arkham asylum and city only barley droped to 50ish fps with the nvidia special stuff at max, but only in those specific rooms.

SR2 had much more content, was more vibrant, heavily expanded and improved on the original, had a storyline that wasn't too serious and sure, sometimes it was mechanically wonky but the gameplay made up for that. The online was also a lot fun.
