That's something Nintendo seem to fail to realize. Motion controls, 3D, console/handheld hybrid - all of those are shitty ideas nobody wants.
The resources spent designing and implementing those would have been better spent making a simply better dedicated home console and/or handheld.

Nintendo collectors are going to buy it anyway. Nintendo can shit out dozens of variations of the same consoles because of these people.
