I was just about to make a thread for this. The 45 level dungeon sounds pretty cool, but the new difficulty is literally the least amount of effort they could have put into it.

The game has a few gaping issues that could be fixed with hard mode, but instead they picked the only wrong way to make a hard mode. The silver bokoblins and lizalfos already take like five million hits and if you use a 2-handed weapon the innitially fun ragdoll physics just turn into a nuissance.

New costumes are whatever, I don't care. They're just cosmetic shit.

Honestly, fuck this. Power up the Master Sword... and it still breaks. The new outfits are stupid too, and I actually like Tingle.

I think it fits the game's mood pretty well, actually. It has a sense of finality to it, like an ancient conflict that's finally going to end one way or another, with both sides just about exhausted. Ganon has actually suffered a lot at the time of BotW, to the point where any humanity he once had is gone. Considering the Master Sword is also a sentient being, it's not that far fetched to think that tens of thousands of years have taken a toll on it, as well.

The Triforce isn't at the same level as the Master Sword btw. Triforce is part of the essence of the golden goddesses, and is pretty much eternal unless its own power is turned against it, like in ALBW. Master Sword was created by Hylia, who was more of a caretaker goddess assigned to Hyrule. She was powerful, but had to sacrifice her divinity to stop Demise, so it stands to reason that her creations also have their limits.
