quake beta is shit and you'll likely spend 20mins trying to get past the loading screen. once you get past you'll spend another 10mins loading the game only to disconnect due to inactivity to go back and repeat the 20min loading screen all while your cpu, gpu, and ram usage is at 100%. on the off and rare chance that you do not get these issues then you'll be faced with horrible gameplay compared to classic quakes and horrible servers, not to mention delay on rockets and horrible weapon/champion balance.
