I found Ryuji quite likable, especially how he's grows quite appreciative of you.
He was shat on by some characters way too frequently though, without it being very funny, the exception being the shots fired by Yuusuke.

Junpei for sure. He had a lot of growth in P3, didn't start out sucking the players cock so much like Youske did, and felt like a true friend near the end that respected the player. I don't remember if I used him all that much at the end of P3 though, I think I traded him out for other people.

I liked Ryuji at the beginning, but half way through he got really obnoxious about everything and being loud in general and never really recovered. He is one of the few characters I really didn't care for at the end. His S-Link was also pretty boring and felt like every beginning S-Link from previous personas. One of his few saving graces was his great starting persona and decent potential at the endgame.

Youske was alright, he had his moments and was pretty funny. However, his "MUH SAKI" and constant dick sucking of the Protag got really old quickly, and he sucked in battle after the beginning parts and was a liability.
