I don't know man. I'm not a huge fan of these "FAN JUST MADE XXXXXX WITH UNREAL ENGINE 4 AND IT'S AMAZING"

I don't say that it's shitty of course and given it's just one person behind it, that's still impressive but... well it just feels so bland. It really lacks personality.
The guys who really impressed me were those behind the Majora's Mask HD fake trailer because it caught the little touch of madness of the original and made it its own.

But at the moment, I can't say I'm disappointed by BotW artstyle. The game is clearly perfectible from a technical point of view but I think the visual design is good. It's a bit like the opposite of your screenshot.

ue4 is overall still younger than ue3, but even then that's clearly not the case. just look at how many japanese games are going ue4 vs ue3. a lot of indies also go ue4. pretty much any mid/low tier 3d game on consoles goes ue4 nowadays.

This looks impressive especially for a fan project but I don't want zelda games to just look like Ocarina of Time but with updated graphics. OoT, while it looked good for the time, now has the worst artistic direction of any of the Zelda games.

All of these "FAN GAEM REMAKE IN UNITY" videos look like crap because they all look like overly bright shit with tons of contrast and clashing art styles eveywhere and their gameplay looks like a crappy and floaty version of the original game.
