Odin sphere is just like muramasa but much, much longer. There are a lot of skills to spice up the gameplay but if you didn't like muramasa you won't like Odin sphere.

Estival is a musou so the gameplay isn't that great.
The worse part is that most combos are unlocked as you level up so a character at level 1 is no fun.
Some characters can dash cancel or guard cancel (guard + jump) which helps a lot to keep things interesting.
I enjoyed the multiplayer a lot though, even with bots. Instead of killing endless mobs you get to fight with other characters and it makes things a lot more challenging.
They story is terrible and the side stories are even worse. Don't buy it for the story.
