I thought it was a bit too long on my first playthrough, but on subsequent replays, the whole section flies by pretty fast, when you already know what you're supposed to do and where to go. So now I enjoy that section as well.

I did. Really liked the 1st, was hyped for and greatly enjoyed the 2nd. Was really sad to hear about Vigil being shuttered specifically because that meant no more DS.

The puzzles in Darksiders are exactly this but more monotonous and repetitive than in Zelda.
The dungeon level design isn't up to par either, since you need to walk back and forth the same corridors all the time, and none of the places are visually or thematically memorable

Fuck, i just started downloading Warmastered edition from steam and i realized for how long and how annoying it was to make my old shitty and broken gamepad work with Darksiders on pc when i played this few years ago. I need to finally buy this adapter for xbox 360 pads so i can connect them to my PC. I have two and xbox 360 and don't use them at all. Now they could be useful.
