The time for that has passed.
>>375743978
It's not even worth pirating.

>>375743978
I played the demo and it didnt pull me in at all. It was clunky as shit, too
>>375743978
already preordered
Interesting story and world, bad gunplay and combat. We'll see.
>>375743978
Why is arkane trying to turn into LGS?
>>375743978
Nope. I wanted my Space Bounty Hunter game. Fack off.
Its the only successor to Half Life 2 we've seen in years. So yes.

Just as bad as people who say Gone Home and The Witness were good.
>>375744937
>hl2
>video is of BLACK MESA
>prey franchise has nothing to do with hl
i mean, its a stretch but i guess i can see it. this only works if prey is as successful as hl2 was

>>375745258
We'll see on launch day :^)
>>375744001
How bad we talking here, what other game is it comparable to
>>375745391
Normies don't even know about the game, so no, it won't be as successful.
>>375744496
i hope thats true cause i love the seamless way half life is designed (dead space 2 is another example)
this seems more like bioshock though
>>375745391
isnt that today?
i honestly have no idea, im so out of the loop. i just started seeing clips of gameplay today so im assuming so
>>375744937
>Not showing the original Half Life
Why are so many Brit gamers massive faggots.
No.

Well, fuck you all then, I'm going to have a lot of fun with the game.
For all of you fags thinking about pirating, just remember that you can't get these if you do.
>>375745692
come on nigga you know that shit dont matter
>>375745692
Either way it's probably gonna have Denuvo or some shit.

Really?
The only fun part is playing with the physics.
>>375745525
What planet do you live on where major releases come out on monday?
>>375743978
Dunno, maybe once the price drops right down. The enemy design looks really uninspired. It's hard to get excited about.
>>375746087
the out of the loop uni student one
>>375743978
It looks like bioshock and i hate bioshock.

Its ok i can wait.
What the fuck kind of a name is january?
>>375746202
Stop calling it uni. It sounds so faggy.
>>375745692
>Morgan Yu
Wait, is the protagonist a nip? I might play this then.
Picked it up on cdkeys for $35. I know it is a bit of a gamble with the PC port and Dishonored 2 having shit optimization, but eh.
>that quiz with 4 different train tracks hypothetical questions
Thought i was on a /v/ thread when i did that.
>>375746087
Well it's fucking tuesday anyway but ok.
>>375746641
Push the fat man.
>>375746413
From the demo it sounds like an AI based on MC, surely he made it in the month of January so that's what he named it.
>>375746413
A code name
>>375743978
not on release no, never again will I do that. But when it drops to like 20-30$ Sure.
>>375746612
With AMD sponsoring it the game should run just fine.
>>375743978
Demo was ok, enemies are pretty boring looking with a gimmick that got tiring very quickly
>>375746413
>lol, what the fuck kind of a name is April, May, or June?
You know that the months are named after people, right?
>>375744001
I was loving it until I fired a gun. The mimics are too small and fast to hit with a gun. Upping the sensitivity doesn't really do much. I also worry that this game will suffer from little variation between enemy types. Sure, aliens mimicking objects is pretty cool for the paranoia factor, but shooting at black blobs and shadows doesn't seem too fun in the long run. I want gore and rag doll damn it.
>>375746848
AMD doesn't actually bother to work with the developers they sponsor half the time. So yeah, you can assume it doesn't have gimpworks, but you can't really assume AMD bothered to respond to their emails on technical issues.
>>375745491
The normies that do know only know about being promised Prey 2, which they're pissed about being canceled and replaced with this. I'm not in the crowd that is desperate for Prey 2, but I am salty at this game for using its name. I want a continuation of the first.
>denuvo

>gunplay is not important for a shooter
Everytime I see a post trying to defend this game, it's some really stupid shit.
I was going to. Now after all the constant shilling I'm going to pirate it. And I hope the broken street date on console discs leads to massive spoilers being posted everywhere and fucking you over big-time.
I was on your side until you insulted my intelligence. Baby, why you gotta make me hurt you?
Im a bit concerned over the enemy design. It feels a bit bland.
Feels like they could have done a lot more with the whole mimic concept.
Maybe have those small ones be able to combine and become bigger or a different shape altogether.
If you shoot one of the human looking ones they could fall apart/drop limbs that become active. Maybe have them mimic environmental things and use them as weapons, kinda like t-1000 in t2.
Maybe throughout the game they evolve and take shape into more complex things, start mimicking/controlling humans leaving you not knowing who to trust etc.
But who knows what they will do with the mimics in the final product?
But I have a bad feeling of impending disappointment.
No. I still want my cyberpunk space bounty hunter game
>>375747991
>Maybe have them mimic environmental things and use them as weapons, kinda like t-1000 in t2.
The art and animation nightmare that will cause is why it will never happen.
>>375744496
its just like no ones ever played system shock!
>>375747086
>Yea im so salty this game is using the name of another game that had nothing to do with the original
>>375749312
I genuinely think they threw money at whoever the fuck that was to plug the idea that you can somehow put Prey and HL2 in the same room and are now flailing around trying to spread the meme. There's no sane connection to be made.
No PC demo so I'll be pirating it first, even I'll be 9 months late.
>>375743978
Maybe when it's <$5 or bundled.
>>375749537
That Bulgarian visual designer who came up with the Combine's design works for Arkane.
Not saying that makes the games similar but there's a connection for you.
>>375751005
Heh, fair enough. Kudos to that guy too.
