There have been in the past, but nothing is super broken right now. That card there is some real bullshit that puts too much emphasis on the opening coinflip though.

In the modern game 2 cards have been banned and another has had an errata. This thing combined with Forest of the Giant Plants devolved the expanded format into a format of actual, literal turn 1 wins through repeated use of it's power. You were either playing the deck or playing something that hard countered it but won against practically nothing else. It ended up getting banned.

I liked Blackrock too. It still had that mixture of "serious" raiding with that whimsical Hearthstone tone.

It's weird, because I used to praise the interesting bits they came up with in the other expansions. One of my fave cards, Nexus-Champion Saraad rides this sick energy camel mount - and it doesn't exist in WoW as of present. Yet, it doesn't feel as forced, it feels more... legit? I just dislike all these new DONUT STEELS they keep pulling out. They shouldn't be so many even if I did like some of them (Kazakus is the man). We've got thousands of characters and lore we could use without inventing things on the spot.
