It's funny, since I've played actual MOBAs before playing HotS for dva's skin myself and 4 friends (who had never played HotS before) playing against real players is easier than against the bots.

By game 4 out of 10 we were stomping over teams of level 70 players. (What do levels in HotS mean anyway?) I'm assuming level 70 means they've at least been playing for a decent while.

We only lost 1 game out of 10 on our way to getting dva's skin, and that's because two players on our team were having ridiculous ping issues.

Is this why HotS has been so shitty this past weekend? Does /v/ suddenly like it?

I've seen two people from different games on the other team rage, and just run mid and die purposefully over and over again.

What levels mean changed with the 2.0 patch. Now its the total combined levels that you've earned on characters. Someone who's level 70 could either have 7 level 10 heroes or like 35 characters only at level 2 aka playing like half the roster for one game each.

Only if their level is extremely high is it any kind of indicator anymore.

I'll say this, at least Blizzard embraces the fact HOTS is a super casual ASSFAGGOT and makes it as such. They don't twiddle their thumbs on "depth" and just focus on it being a pick and play type of game in the genre compared to LoL where Riot continue to lie to themselves that LoL has any depth and shit whatsoever esp with their whole "burden of knowledge" bullshit.

In the end, it's a nice change of pace to play after dealing with the detailed nuances in Dota2 for a while. Like when I want to play a game of ASSFAGGOTS but don't want to worry about pulling ,warding, stacking, rosh, item builds, etc. HotS is a good distraction, other than that, back to Dota2 hell whenever I want to.
