DESU none of them even compel me to try them the first time. My younger brother has a PS3/4. He offers to let me play some of the exclusives he's purchased. It's never even worth the effort to take them out of the box when there is a comparable, more unique game on PC that looks a million times better.

exclusives are the only bargaining chip for bragging rights. otherwise how else can they validate their purchase? Every aspect worth bragging about has slowly trickled away from them, the ps4 pre launch was bragged about being as powerful as a PC but was quickly outpaced, then it was just the strongest console which will now go to the scorpio so what's left are it's exclusives. it doesn't matter that majority of ps4 owners aren't playing them.

Personally, I think they each have quite the unique experience, but lets play with your reasoning and consider the hypothetical that they don't.

I'm a PC gamer and the PS4 makes the most sense to get as a console. It has all the Japanese games i'm interested in. The only console I wouldn't get is a Nintendo console. They only have kiddy kids that no one else but autists are interested in.

PC and PS4 are the best platforms.
