I recently made a retrospective video on this game and I agree. Its quite the amazing game.

The video I watched was from an account named TheFriendlyBroski which was uploaded 5 days ago, in the search the next result was made 2 years ago so I think that was you from what I deduced.

Why wouldn't you just play Arma 3 or something? They've recycled the same engine through every game and they all play the same.

I do own Arma 3, but with my potato that I call a PC it's at the lowest settings(not that I care about that anyway) and will crash for no reason at times. OFP, while older and inferior engine-wise, doesn't crash as much and is much easier to run. Coupled with the FFUR'85 mod, I found a new favorite game to play. It may not have the 3den editor but I just like OFP more.

OFP is bizarrely less clunky in its feeling than Arma 3 even though in practice it's clumsy and weird and you can't even move when crouching.

I think the reason for this is that there really isn't many buildings to enter that would cause a clunky feeling. The clunky feeling comes along with complicated controls and lots of enterable buildings.
