No, the beta was well done and I enjoyed it. It needed a little polish, as expected, but I think it'll shape up to be a good game.

To me rising storm was a good step forward from hos. Although, since it's vietnam, I anticipate even more getting sniped from bushes.
I was in the closed beta, overall i enjoyed it but it did need a little polish
>maps are big, mostly flat but each one has enough in it to keep it interesting. tunnels are much more spooky now
>choppers are very hard to control, but a decent pilot and gunner made for a op combo
>getting napalmed is hell
>models were difficult to see, teammates had little arrows on them to stop FF, but sometimes they popped in too late

>the teams felt somewhat balanced, viet tunnel spawns are a good and the ability to rapidly get back in CPs weighed out the weakness of the equipment

all in all I enjoyed it, it feels very similar to RO2, RS but with lots of good tweaks here and there.
