one thing that bothered me a bit in FC and SC is that the game, despite the efforts put into world building and narrative, never made any mentions of the dangers of being a Bracer. I'd enjoy if we could get some trivia in the survival/bailout rate of newbie Bracers, how many of them actually get to B rank or even some extra lines in monster hunting jobs with mentions that ''this monster have already takes the life of two experienced Bracers, be careful''.

Because the way the game present the job it feels as if Bracers are nothing more than glorified mall cops instead of genuinely powerful civilians with unique skills.

The thing about Machias is that his designated rival Jusis ends up being probably the best-written character in the party, so Machias constantly trying to pick fights with him over nothing basically only serves to make him less likable each time it happens. It happens a lot.
