The 3DS works totally fine except for the battery that last like two hours but I kinda want to try Xenoblade and the other games that run better on the New are kinda tempting.

If I didn't just buy a N3DS XL I would have considered this.

I think visually it's pretty eh, but from a technical standpoint I like how they have the touch screen lowered, like the original DS, rather than a border raising the screen up like every other model which is what caused the self-scratching most of the models of DS and 3DS after it had, and that there's a cartridge cover which for the spring loaded game slot which is something that really should've been there to begin with thirteen years ago.

It is a toy, but it looks nice.

I think the new 2DS does look good, but my problem with it is that it's so fucking expensive. The whole point of the 2DS is that it's a cheaper alternative, but it's not even really cheaper anymore. Also, why the fuck did they make it an XL? I don't want an XL, it makes the screen look even shittier than it already is and makes it more experience than it should be.

I'm bad at describing things I guess but, I'll try.
Part of what makes it bad is the different textures. You have smooth and shiny, smooth and matte and then stripes on the outside. I also think the proportion the accent takes is way too much. It should have just lined the side instead of coming up over the edge and onto the face. The whole thing also seems kind of chunky at least from the perspective in the picture. It gives the impression of some lightweight chintzy toy that's mostly hollow and would easily depress between your finger and thumb. Then there's the color choice but, really that's just more of a problem because of the poor accent proportions.
