Breath of the wild. It's pretty much infuriating because after you beat Ganon in 3 hours all you have is a really shitty collectathon and maybe 10 side quests that are actually interesting. Most of the side quests are just bullshit tho. I fucking hate that it's received so we'll on /v/ for how bad it actually is, and I almost forgot there's shitty paid dlc coming out. In a Zelda game. That's when I dropped the game. It tries to act "woah so hardcore" but there's no fail state so it's just pointless grinding to unlock more dungeons so you can grind more.

That never happens, the actual issue is having a full roster of level 6 characters with no newbies to go on lower level dungeons.
After your first few failures you'll get a hang of the game quite easily, the late game is the only part of the game that can be called out for seeming "unfair" since one bad roll of the dice will seriously turn into a TPK

I like the game but what really pisses me off is the whole experienced characters refuse to go to earlier dungeons. Fucking Hell, just limit it to one experienced character on the group. Nothing fucking boils my blood more than when most of my A and B teams get almost wiped on a bad run, have to stop and bring a new team up to speed.

If the game's first message when you boot up is telling you to make the most of bad situations, why the fuck can't I use the survivors to help give the new team a fighting chance?

Nope, then as an extra fuck you by the RNGods, a head collector appears on the new teams first outing.
