I have all 3 games on my PS3 and pirated it for PC to play it in glorious 1080p but I couldn't even get 13 to start.
I read in some forums and people say it has multiple bugs, starting from stuck on the logo screen to constant crashes every 10 minutes.

I ended up playing it on the PS3 again. I'm not sure I have all the DLCs for 13-2, so I think I want to play that on the PC if the port isn't too awful. Anyone knows?

I believed anons like you and tried FFXIII-2 because they all said it was the holy grail of redemption and improvement. Fool me twice. FF is dead.

I did all I could to try and like it but there's just nothing likeable about it. The graphics are really good for 2009 and the battle system is ATB except you're juked to think it's something else but in the end it's like an improved ATB and the music is okay.
Characters are ass, story is alright althought predictable but because of the characters it becomes ass too. Level design is ass up the ass and enemies are unimpressive. I'm not even complaining about the linearity as much as the encounter design being absolute donkey balls and the fact that there's a sneak attack mechanic but you're almost never being allowed to fucking use it. Character leveling is decent, equipment leveling is seven shades of dogshit.
