Crafting is preferable to korok-grinding and shrine-hunting, sidequests feel less empty and meaningless, even the radiant ones. BotW sidequests are all "go to x and find a shrine" anyway.

the creation kit is fun as fuck, no other game offers this customizarion depth and freedom.
you can really turn skyrim into an amazing game if you know what you are doing, yes especially the combat can be amazing too
