Hero's path mode seems kinda redundant, you usually know where youve been based on shrine locations and koroks on the map

Hard mode is really what I was excited for, but it seems way to similar to the normal game. Now enemies have more health, wow! No new enemies ether. Kinda lame.

Travel medallions seem meh. There are enough shrines that you really dont need it. Maybe putting it right outside of ganons room could be cool.
The new armors are alright, I hope they have abilities. Having Wolf Link locked by Amiibo still is really fucking annoying. Midna's helmet better let you tame a wolf.

Hard mode is incredibly disappointing. Instead of taking the time to fix most of the actual problems with the combat and gameplay, they just decided to make it more grindy.
Food is incredibly overpowered and basically guarantees that you'll never be wanting for health. Cooking something as simple as just a Hearty Durian gives you a full restore and 3 extra hearts. It's also impossible for you to die when you have food because you can just pause, stuff your face, and keep going.
The way damage is calculated means that by the end of the game 95% of enemies pose little to no threat to you, with no minimum damage besides a quarter heart.

People have suggested implementing a system which lowers the effectiveness of food and gives Link a fullness meter, meaning that you can't just eat thirty apples and call it a day, you'd need to use plenty of ingredients to make full restore meals from several different areas in the game. It makes cooking more satisfying and not just "Throw five of each in the pot". It feels like the people who did exploration and the people who did combat were on entirely different wavelengths.
