Faggot. Just play one side mission you like until you get 10 respect (maybe more been years since I played) then it becomes infinite and you never have to refill it again. I did this on every play through because even though I like some side missions, I hate breaking up the story to go fling shit onto condos

If sr2 is remastered it's going to need some serious work on some parts. I'm about 70% done and I can honestly say that Trail Blazing, Heli Assault, and Insurance fraud are absolutely awful. Trail Blazing requires too much luck on placement of vehicles and pedestrians, Heli Assault is way to easy and just boring, and Insurance Fraud requires too much luck with vehicle spawns. The fact that you don't get point for being run over unless you've started to ragdoll before getting hit is absolutely retarded, too.

On Insurance Fraud, grab a car and hit the freeways. It's much, much easier to do when you're jumping in front of semi trucks.

Trail Blazing sucks and you just have to get good and lucky.

You didn't mention it, but the Snatch missions are much easier if you steal an FBI SUV and upgrade it. Make sure you get the smallest rims too (otherwise it bounces all over the place - which you don't want).

Thanks, I've actually beaten all of them already though. I forgot to mention that my biggest gripe with Trail Blazing is actually the awful physics, though. I also found Snatch missions to be much easier if you recruit regular followers to join you in your search for hookers.
I just used the lower gravity cheat for Insurance Fraud.

2 was a great blend of goofy shit and a some great story moments
the gameplay also reflected on that
3 was good but it's story was hot garbage and the driving in 2 was better
in 4 there was no need for cars/guns at all, it was just a crap Crackdown game and the story went full lelrandum. The best parts of the game where the ones that restricted your powers.

I think it's more that the goddamn quad drives like shit, more than the physics.

The only reason I don't use homies/followers for snatch is because they take up room in the SUV (and in later Snatch levels I prefer to complete them in as few runs as possible).

This is for the anons who haven't played/are planning on playing/are playing and are stuck: In general, completing the side missions unlocks weapons and upgrades (like infinite sprint, reduced damage, infinite ammo, special weapons, etc.).

They're all worth getting, but they do make the game easier. Personally, dual wielding the GAL 43 is probably the only weapon you need outside of satchel charges/rpgs. It's unlocked by doing the Snatch missions and makes other missions a lot easier

Cruising around the city in SR1 and 2 was pretty comfy. Especially in SR1 when you got on the highways and just listen to the talk radio station while driving around in the dark.

SR3's city is so tiny and uninteresting (and lack of long stretches of highways) that it just wasn't the same. Not to mention the fucking time of day never changes.
