I didnt like it at first but it grew on me. There are still some problems with it

>have to use the gamepad
>a few stages are simply not possible in co op (running ones come to mind)
>cat suit trivializes the flag pole platforming challenges
>boss fights were insultingly easy

It's middle of the road I'd argue, it's not as dull as New Super Mario Bros. 2 or 3D Land anyways but no where near as hype as 64, Sunshine and the Galaxy games.

It's entirely a multiplayer game. Could have used Yoshi, Wario, and let's say Daisy.

The crown mechanic is pretty darn good, such a simple addition that makes playing with friends all the more dynamic.

Is 3D World disliked on /v/?
