In FPS games I reload whenever I kill an enemy and dont see more coming. The only time I dont do this is if the game punishes you for it by making you lose that ammo.
In any game where you can make your own character I headcanon their backstory and what happens to them after the games ending if it isnt stated, though I sometimes do this with other games aswell if I dont like the ending/find it unsatisfying.

I try to e-sport cast myself in games with a competitive leaning. Go over mistakes and reasonings, try to analyze what to do next and so on, reflection of previous plays and such.

It gets pretty autistic whenever I play assfaggots, I once had my little normie brother walk in on me doing it, he'd been listening by the door to me. It was pretty fucking cringe.

I have a notepad sat on my desk that I use to make notes on my progress, important things NPCs have said, puzzle solutions, that sort of thing (even when there's already an ingame questlog). It sounds weird but it's nice to look back on notes from my first playthrough of games that later go on to be my favourites.

I guess I do something similar- I always get a really strong urge to reload after using a couple of bullets. If I kill someone, I reload on instinct even if I still have 3/4 of my magazine left and I'm still not out of the fight. It's fucked me over many times.

Wheb playing games like dmc or bayonetta I call out character catchphrases when defeating enemies. Like dante saying BREAKDOWN after million stab or bayonetta saying THE...END after her weave combos.

Its become such a habit that Ive started coming up with things to say doing mundane tasks and I keep saying DEAD-ON when finishing a project at work.

But I have a hard time playing as a bad character or doing things that go against what is considered immoral in Christianity. Event though I'm not religious (I used to be and I think it's some form of magical thinking I picked up).

An example is, I never initiate combat, so it's always self defense and not 'murder'. This includes not going near enemies when they 'warn' me. In Skyrim this was a lot of running in huge circles to avoid entering enemy aggro range. Cause in my mind that would make me the attacker.

I also avoid magic, anything that encourages worship of other gods and even certain words like certain curses. When this happen, I reload the game to an earlier save before this 'happened'.

I know it makes no sense at all, but it's really typical OCD behavior. Strangely for me it's only in video games and not IRL.

In text games I sometimes read the dialogue out loud. It mostly happens to me without realizing and has been really awkward when someone else was in the house.
Somewhat related, if I'm watching a lets play and someone else is reading the dialogue I can't watch it. Even if their voices aren't bad it bothers me on some level.

Just google shit and try different things nightly, not everything works for everyone, be patient.

What worked for me when I started was simple enough, lie down on your bed, head resting one just 1 pillow your comfortable with. Hands at the sides and feet pointing slightly to the sides (Just let them drop on their own). Think about white noise, empty your mind as much as you can and completely resist the urge to move, ESPECIALLY to scratch. If you keep your mind active, but calm, open, but blank. Your natural recesses take over and you enter a lucid state.

if you've never done it before, it'll take a while to recognize it (when you begin to dream). Don't just take my advice though, get experimental if your super keen on having one and my method doesn't work.

In certain action games, even if I'm able to beat sections fairly easily, I'll often restart dozens of times until I feel like I've aced the part or used all my abilities in a satisfying way without cheesing.

in dark souls I always fish for backstabs and parries and my build and weapon give me guaranteed crit kills. After I kill them I taunt with a gesture then slow walk away from them so the last thing they see is my back as they respawn with no souls.

I do this in vidya and real life.

Whenever I think excessively about something, be it something I have done in the past, something I worry about, something I need to do etc., and I want to stop worrying about that thing, I hit my left pec with my right fist as in pic related salute. This marks the finishing of my thoughts on the subject and I am not allowed to think about the subject anymore.
