SMT1 and 2 are both great, but did not age worth dick, Nocturne, while good, can also be annoying as dog shit on your shoe thanks to that era of "I'm a cunt" AI.

So 4, Final, and SJ are the best bets for getting into SMT as a whole, while Strange Journey holds to the traditional play style "not battle" of the first 2 games.

Nocturne is unconfirmed, but hinted at, some people have been bitching for Nocturne to be released on the PS4 digital store like Dark Cloud etc with all the bells and whistles. But if my guess is right its potential they will do a VA and Nocturne re-release.

They are going to re-release all of the SMT main line games with VA work essentially and 3DS graphics shit most likley or at the very least Persona 5 assets.

Either way, P5 was the 25 year anni, SMT will be the 30 year Anni.
