I used to be really into the message board and IRC community surrounding this game. I even applied to be a part of the "Debate Team" which was a super secret special club that you had to be invited to by the mod team. I had an "interview" and everything at the age of like 11 and was so disappointed I didn't get to be in the club

I remember when I quit it was the Devourer Saga or something like that, which was one of the first huge events. I went on the message board to read the backstory of the event (which wasn't in the game for some fucking reason) and it was literally thousands upon thousands of words, like an actual novel building up to this event that didn't have any characters or lore or anything about the game until like the last two "chapters"

Good for Artix for managing to get a bunch of 11 year olds to beg their parents to play a shitty flash game

I think it was some elementals pissed her off while she was on some quest Warlic set her. She then kills Warlic (I think he basically let her) and steals his orb and staff, ends up pissing off the Elemental Lords who don't exactly take kindly to this, they go after her (which endangers the town and all that I believe). She can't however go toe to toe with the lords, so she cracks the orb to revive Warlic, he tries to get them to back off but they're like we want revenge for this little shit, so Warlic beats them off

Warlic was by far the most powerful human, it wasn't even a question, he could have obliterated Sepulcher I'm pretty sure. It's just the way his mana worked was their way of nerfing him: he actually produced mana rather than use it up, and this could get dangerous: in the quests where you can play as him if you max out your mana you die, but I'm pretty sure the lore implications were a lot more destructive. Then there were the Elemental Lords who are around the same power level as Warlic I believe. I think the Mysterious Stranger ends up playing a role in the end of Book 1 of DF.
Then I believe in AQ if I'm not mistaken the most powerful entity was the Un-Creator: The Galin

Sepulcher gets killed at the end of book one I'm almost certain. Pretty sure AQW is it's own seperate thing. As for the orbs they all get combined into the ultimate orb I think, my memory isn't the best on what the rest of the end of book one was. I think you end up having to go get the bacon orb so you have an orb to fight back, the Mysterious Stranger either kills Sepulcher and steals the ultimate orb or just steals it, the two dragons fight obviously (pretty sure that's what the bacon orb is for), and Sepulcher or the Mysterious Stranger ends up causing a whole load of darkness
